Q: Can I participate remotely? A: No, this is an in-person event. Participants must be able to attend both days in New York City.

Q: What if I don't have a team? A: Most participants will be assigned to teams and guilds based on their skills and interests. You do not need to come with a pre-formed team.

Q: What should I bring? A: Bring your laptop, charger, and any other devices you need to work. Meals and snacks will be provided.

Q: Will there be food? A: Yes, lunch, dinner, and snacks will be provided on both days.

Q: Is there a cost to participate? A: No, participation is free.

Q: What happens to the code we write? All work produced during the hackathon is contributed to the Open Connect open-source project under the OpenConnect Software License. You retain attribution rights as a contributor.

Q: How do I learn about the problem before the event? Join us on Thursday, March 5 for a documentary screening and panel discussion exploring the prison telecom industry. Separate registration details coming soon.
